Anna Lewis, PhD

Dr. Anna Lewis graduated magna cum laude from Harvard and has a PhD from Fielding University. Dr. Lewis works with adults, pre-teens and teens.  Her areas of focus include life transitions, challenges in romantic relationships, adults with difficult parents, the transition to parenthood, and questions of identity and purpose.  She has also worked extensively with individuals with anxiety, depression, and histories of disordered eating. Dr. Lewis welcomes patients of all sexual orientations and gender identities, as well as members of the poly and kink communities. Dr. Lewis offers virtual and in-person sessions during the week.

Jacquie McCue, LCSW

Jacquie has a Master's Degree in Social Work from New York University and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2018. Jacquie has worked with those with severe mental illness since 2015 and also has experience with children and adolescents in and aging out of the foster care system, with women experiencing domestic violence and with those who have experienced trauma. Jacquie is certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and has worked with those diagnosed with various personality disorders for the last 5 years. Jacquie is passionate about working with women and adolescents. In-person and virtual sessions are available on Mondays and select evenings.

Will has a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Western Seminary. Will enjoys working with adolescents and men struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem and burnout. Will has extensive experience working with adolescents in a variety of capacities having coached high school sports for more than a decade. Will welcomes patients of all orientations and identities. Will offers in-person sessions on Tuesdays and virtual sessions on Mondays and Fridays.

Sara is a PhD candidate at Meridian University and a registered psychologist associate. She is accepting new patients! Sara is available for IN PERSON therapy sessions for children, teens, and adults. Sara is passionate about listening deeply and helping people find personalized pathways to healing. Annie Barker, ACSW

Annie has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from San Jose University. Her studies were based in a transcultural perspective and fostered the skills to empathically serve people of any race, creed, religion, gender, and sexual identity. Annie is passionate about cultivating a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationships with the client to promote healing and growth. Her client-centered approach utilizes mindfulness through various evidence-based modalities, including Trauma Informed Care, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. Annie is experienced with severe and persistent mental illness. She welcomes adolescents and adults experiencing any degree of difficulty coping with life’s challenges. Sarah Frisch, AMFT

Sarah has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Sarah is also a certified birth and postpartum Doula and enjoys working with new mothers and families as they navigate fertility issues, pregnancy, postpartum, and the many transitions involved in these stages. Sarah operates from a very eclectic perspective but primarily utilizes a Person-Centered approach, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and truly attempts to promote collaboration and an individual’s sense of empowerment and awareness. Sarah has had experience with a variety of populations, some being high-conflict co-parenting, family therapy, and adolescents who have experienced trauma or eating disorders. Sarah is dedicated to providing a compassionate, empathetic, and judgment-free space for individuals and families seeking support and understanding as they navigate many of life’s transitions or attempt to heal from past traumatic events. Dr. Hernandez is a licensed clinical psychologist who holds a PhD from Pacifica Graduate Institute. She is certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and holds hospital privileges in DBT and General Psychology at Napa State Hospital. Dr. Hernandez specializes in helping clients navigate issues around ethnic/racial identity, biculturalism, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She brings a social and racial justice lens to therapy, exploring the impact of immigration, ethnic/racial identity, or cultural issues that impact personal and professional life. She uses a combination of psychodynamic, multicultural, DBT, CBT, and Solution Focused modalities to help clients reduce stress and improve their ability to achieve personal and professional goals. She enjoys working with clients who are bright, motivated, and professionally driven.

In addition to the above, Dr. Hernandez specializes in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD for children, adolescents, and adults, and hold certifications in ADHD and success coaching. She brings a strong background in understanding the unique challenges of those who are twice exceptional (2e), which refers to those who are intellectually gifted with a secondary type of neurodivergence (ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder, or other learning disabilities). 

Dr. Hernandez is passionate about clinical supervision and training! Since 2017 she has held numerous clinical training and supervision roles for pre-doctoral interns and post-doctoral psychology fellows. Since 2017, she has held positions at the Access Institute for Psychological Services as an adjunct faculty member, psychological assessment supervisor, and clinical supervisor for psychology interns and post-doctoral fellows. At Napa State Hospital she has held positions in the Clinical Psychology Internship Program as a psychological assessment supervisor, clinical rotation supervisor, and didactic instructor. Additionally, she currently serves as a medical staff proctor and co-chair of the Napa State Hospital Psychology Department Credentials Committee.
